Sometimes it can take 5-6 weeks for newer items and occasionally I experience delays especially if the printers act up. For a large special order I ask your patience, I had one order that took me several days to print out. I am very inefficient at this time due to start up. I am getting faster. Biography The designer has been reading science fiction and vampire literature since childhood. I began doing cross stitch in 1977. I guarantee my stash is held in two filing cabinets. I used to stitch on 32 count cloth the smaller the better. (Over one). My first piece was the Star angel by Mar-Bek. I am an avid fan of supernatural phenomenon and have been collecting tarot cards and mystical books for at least thirty years. I also believe in alternative therapy for diseases sometimes used in conjunction with pharmaceuticals. I share my birthday with Ozzy Osborne - we were born the same day. I am a Zoologist with an MBA in quantitative studies. I hold certification as a quality auditor and a quality engineer. I currently work full time in the statistics and laboratory information services of a pharmaceutical organization. My hobbies include gardening, sewing and reading. I played bass in an all girl band in high school. I have been designing patterns since the beginning of 1997. I have one daughter that I am very proud of she helped me design some of my site. I love cats. At the moment I am caring for Spookey who is in remission from lymphoma. My goal is to return to school full time for immunology so that I may work with others towards the cure for cancer. I have lost too many dear friends and family to this merciless disease. I also have several friends that have successfully overcome cancer. One is the only person to have survived advanced giant cell tumor twenty years ago. About the Design Process To precisely convert an image to a cross stitch pattern, each image is optimized in photoshop. Some of the images are large as I try to maintain the original image as much as possible. The colors are adjusted also during the conversion of the pattern within the program. This helps tweak any aberrant colors. So yes they are computer generated but the faces are not green!!!! Future Plans During the next few months several new designs will be adapted from the artwork of Karen Haughey and Nemia Rucker. I will not be adding any new tarot decks until I get caught up with my orders for current decks. Survey Results I am still using the feedback that you give for future designs.
